Marko has over three decades of experience in the conduct and resolution of commercial and civil disputes. He has instructed in matters which became leading authorities in diverse areas such as negligence and insolvency.

For the majority of his career he was also a partner or principal of boutique litigation firms, giving him valuable insights into business administration, and the challenges that arise for managers of both private and public enterprises.

He has completed nearly 25 years of service in the Australian Defence Force and is a Navy Reserve Legal Officer with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He has also been privileged to serve as an Honorary Aide De Camp to three Governors of South Australia.
